   1. User Phone Number
      • Purpose: Your phone number is used as a unique identifier to log into our platform, verify your identity, and, upon your agreement, to send SMS notifications related to your account.
      • Opt-In and Opt-Out: You have the option to opt-in to receive SMS notifications. If you decide to opt-in, you can opt-out at any time.
   2. User Legal Name and ID Photo
      • Requirement:For users who wish to have their account verified with a government-issued ID and to register a merchant/car care provider profile, we require your full legal name and a photo of your ID.
      • Data Handling: The ID photo will be securely stored and deleted from our systems immediately after it has been reviewed by a DashBuff team member.
   3. SSN and Date of Birth (DoB)
      • Requirement: SSN and DoB are required only for users who wish to enroll in a Merchant/Car Care Provider account for offering services.
      • Third-Party Sharing: This information is not stored in our systems but is securely shared with a third-party payment gateway, Stripe, for the purposes of generating 1099-MISC tax forms annually for our users.
   4. Debit/Credit Card Information
      • Data Storage: Debit or credit card information is stored securely with Stripe. DashBuff does not save any card information in our database.
      • Usage: Cards are used for processing payments for service requests and/or receiving weekly payouts for users who earn money as car care providers.
3. How We Use Information

   The information we collect is used to operate and improve the services we offer. This includes using data to improve security, enhance user experience, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

   We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of DashBuff except in the following cases:

   • With your consent: We will share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of DashBuff when we have your consent to do so.
   • For external processing: We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
   • For legal reasons: We will share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of DashBuff if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
